Why it exists
The field cap,
built for the ground.
Every run in the journal was researched under a sun that does not care about your plans. The field cap is the answer: a five-panel crown low enough to stay put on descents, a curved brim that shades without blocking the trail ahead, and mesh side panels for the climbs that get hot.
The shell is a tight ripstop weave that shrugs off drizzle and branch snags; the mesh is soft enough to forget. The mark is embroidered in two colours, pine and terracotta, because a printed logo on a forty-dollar cap is a broken promise.
The standard
The standard we set for it: the five-panel caps that dominate start lines — featherweight, unshakeable, and still presentable at dinner afterwards.
